My family tends to take frequent vacations to various places around the country. When we’re going to travel we try to find good deals, but you have to consider lots of things besides price with travel. It’s not like grocery shopping and using double coupons. We always try to find a hotel that’s clean and affordable, and good staff can be a factor as well. There are a good number of jobs in the travel industry, including Resort Manager Jobs. If you’re young and enjoy seeing different places these are jobs you might think of checking into.

How do you think cats hunt small prey? I know from television that larger cats wait, and pounce. Do smaller cats do the same? Tom the cat from Tom and Jerry, often uses objects such as knives to hunt Jerry the mouse. However he rarely finds success in his efforts. Is hunting just for larger cats, or do smaller cats need tools such asĀ Martor USA utility knives.

Its’ no secret that many cats like to try and nibble on live plants. I’ve received roses and other flowers and caught my cats checking them out. I cant even imagine how upset I’d be if I had one of those beautiful custom floral arrangements and the cats tried to snack on that. One thing cat owners should be aware of is what plants and flowers might be dangerous to their cats. After all, cats, unlike flowers, are irreplaceable.

Well we’re far enough into our battle with mice that we know one thing. The cats are useless. They don’t seem to smell , hear or see the mice. We’ve decided to use mousetraps in our battle to best the tiny beasties. We decided to use some reusable plastic mousetraps. They’re a bit more expensive then the wooden ones but you don’t actually have to touch the mouse when emptying the trap. If you’ve ever had a mouse problem, what kind of mousetrap did you like best and why?

One of our cats seems to never stop eating. He is enormous but not fat, at least not yet. I don’t even begin to know what suppresses appetites in cats. He plays a lot and runs around the house, so he does get some exercise. I don’t really know how to get more exercise in his daily life, besides when he walks around the house and when he plays. Do you have any suggestions?

Here’s an update on the mouse situation. Basically we don’t think that our cats could find any mice, not even if they had a car gps strapped to their backs. They never so much as look at the cabinets, never mind try to get in them. Maybe they play together. So we’re using mousetraps. To date we’ve caught four mice in the kitchen cabinet. They seem to be most attracted to cookies, something we discovered when we discovered the mouse problem. We had noticed all Oreo packages were getting chewed while other packages weren’t getting touched. We’ve used peanut butter as well as the cookies. I thought we’d have caught more by now, because where there’s one surely there’s more.

Recently we discovered that a mouse had been making himself/herself right at home in the cabinet over my oven. We found droppings, and lots of chewed paper from packages in the back of the cabinet. My father told me that we’d need to empty the cabinet and set traps. I let him do the emptying, being the chicken I am. He’d take something out of the cabinet, we’d check it and then he’d hand it to me and I’d put it on the table or in the garbage. After a quick glance we noticed the paper had been chewed from around the top of a bottle of olive oil. After looking more closely, we discovered a dead mouse in the bottle. He must have gone in to eat or drink and drowned. I wonder how many more there are. And why the cats didn’t know about this.

I don’t just trust any old thing that I pick up while I’m browsing in a flea market. I go to flea markets all the time and know good and well that a lot of the things you’ll find there are just junk. But hidden among all that junk is some treasure that’s just waiting to be uncovered and bought. I take going to the flea market as kind of a challenge to find something amazing that I can’t live without.
It doesn’t always happen though, so I also vary which flea markets I go to every now and then as a way to just change things up. When I was online a few weeks ago looking for a new market to hit up, I saw some clear deals. After I showed them to my fiance, we decided to change over our home internet service to one of them.
You don’t have to guess really hard to figure out that flea market shopping is one of my favorite things to do in my spare time. Next on my list is finding some decor for our guest bedroom makeover.

Imagine if cats played baseball. I was browsing the web and happened across the above photo and it got me to thinking about it. Cats love to play and run, so the running would be natural. Cats love to swat at things. Imagine a cat up at the plate, waiting to swing with one of those personalized bats. That cracks me up. Cats love to chase toys so going after a ball would probably be natural for them too. Plus, if they had to go to the bathroom they’d be near lots of dirt. I think a baseball game played by cats would be entertaining. Unfortunately, cats don’t have paws that will permit them to play baseball.
