My cat is messy
My two cats are Himalayans. I feed them dry food in a large shared bowl. I feed them wet food in a large split bowl. Both bowls sit on top of a mat with a raised edge. Yet at any given time when you go into my bathroom there is dry cat food on the floor. Here’s what happens. One of my cats takes a mouthful of food and puts it on the floor, and that proceeds to go all over the place. We have no idea why this happens. I bought a miniature dust pan and brush for $2 at Target that I keep in the bathroom near the food so it can be picked up quickly. Does anyone else have a cat that does this?

We have four cats: three are four years old and litter mates, and Hobbes is a year old. I know for sure Otis, one of the girls, usually brings her food out to the coffee table. Little Hobbes only likes one of the three bowls we have on a little tray with dry food. He’ll wake you from a dead sleep if his white bowl is near empty, then walk away when you fill it.

Oh yes, if the bowl is almost empty or empty we get lectured. Cats are so funny.
