Accidental savings
I had to go to Walgreen’s to pick up prescriptions for my older son this weekend. He had bronchitis and the flu. On my way to the back of the store I had to go down the aisle that carried cough and cold products and pain relievers. We were running low on a couple of things, that I was debating picking up while I was there. Well boy did I get lucky, because almost every one of them was on sale. The cough drops were on sale, the day and night cough syrups were buy one get one free, and the aspirin was buy one get one free. Even the candy bar I decided to buy at the counter was on sale. I should have taken a few minutes to go over to the skin care aisle and see if any of the acne treatment stuff that my son likes was on sale. Maybe I’ll go back. Have you ever lucked out and found a sale by accident?
