I don’t think the cat’s happy I’ve gone wireless
I got a new laptop not long ago. Rennie, our female cat, couldn’t care less about it. But Shadow, our male cat, seemed to like it. Each time I used it he’d walk across the bottom part of the laptop underneath the keyboard, rubbing his head on me and making it so I couldn’t see the screen. He’d swat at my fingers sometimes when I used the trackpad. When I connected the yellow CAT5e cable from the laptop to the dsl modem it was playtime. He tried to play with that cable every time I was online with the laptop.I don’t think he’s as happy now, because we changed to a wireless modem so I could use the built in Airport and not have to connect. Yesterday he saw me put the laptop on the coffee table in the living room and he immediately looked for the yellow cable. After a few minutes he seemed to realize it wasn’t there and sort of tilted his head as if to say “where is it”. Now he’s just sitting next to me as if he’s waiting for it. Do you cats play with cables? Do they bug you when you’re on the computer?
