Skin care samples
Since my son turned twelve he’s been fighting off acne. He wants me to buy all kinds of acne solutions but I know that many of them don’t work, and that he can help fight acne naturally. He drinks lots of water, and rarely drinks soda and I think that’s a good thing. Spring is here and he’s running track, and I think exercise is good for the skin and body. I’ve seen a noticeable change just in the past two weeks or so since the nicer weather started arriving. But since he’s so interested in the products he sees on television, I decided to see what free skin care samples I can find. So far I’ve found Neutrogena. Do any of you know of any others?

Poor kid. I’ve been fighting acne for most of my life - It’s not fun. Unfortunately, I’m allergic to most effective products. I’ve heard great things about Proactiv (www.proactiv.com) though. Good luck!
Oh, and I received my coupon today! Thanks!

The Proactiv seems so expensive. I remember when I was growing up most things didn’t work, they just wanted to take everyone’s money. Hope you enjoy the yogurt! Thanks for visiting.

I think you can buy products that have the same ingredients as Proactiv for a lot less money. The idea is to use a very gentle cleanser first just to get off surface dirt, dermatologists like Cetaphil. Witch hazel is quick at clearing up red pimples (trust me on that one). I wish doctors would figure out what causes acne and come up with something that really works. Good luck to your son!
