Sneaky ads
You’ve probably seen text link ads for mesothelioma. They’re everywhere, and they frequently link to lawyers. Today I clicked on one and it took me to what appeared to be a mesothelioma health and information site. That in itself was a refreshing change. I haven’t previously encountered any site on this topic that has so much information. The site discusses treatments, symptoms, diagnosis, helpful sites, information, specialists and news. The site even offers visitors a free book of common questions and answers, just for asking. As I got to the bottom of the page, I noticed a banner for a lawyer, labeled as a sponsor. That made sense. Then I noticed below that in tiny print the footer contained the words websites for law firms. Sneaky, sneaky! And I thought it was meant to be a free resource site.
