We recently got a larger travel trailer. It’s 28 foot long and it pulls behind my truck. There’s a lot of great things about travel trailers that make them much less expensive to own than motor homes – you have you car to drive while you’re away and there are no engines and transmissions to maintain or replace. Also, since you don’t drive it there’s no need for motorhome insurance. We took it to upstate New York and really enjoyed ourselves.
