I wonder why the Jetsons had no cat. They had the dog Astro, who when he spoke you couldn’t understand what he said. Bsn atro phex might have been dog speak or the name of a drug, who knows. What surprises me the most is that they didn’t make Astro robotic, like Rosie the maid. That would have made lots of sense, and fit right in with the show.
Have you ever seen those videos for cats? They crack me up. Even when my cats were alive I never put on television just for them. It makes you wonder if there are people out there whose cats have their own televisions? I envision small flat panels on plasma mounts at floor level. You know what else would be funny? A flat panel inside a dog house.
We love all of the old James Bond movies. Earlier this week we caught one of our favorites – Diamonds Are Forever. Every time I see that movie the first thing that I think is how beautiful the white Persian cat is. She looked so elegant and regal wearing what I’m sure was a collar made of certified diamonds. We had a tortie-lynx point Himalayan once whose coat was almost that white. I was never able to get it to look that good.
